The Cochise County, Ariz., board of supervisors licensed the county’s election results on Thursday, after a order specialise in dominated that it became once unlawful for two GOP supervisors now to no longer certify the outcomes by the order’s correct closing date.

The board voted 2-0 to certify the outcomes from the Nov. 8 midterm elections, with one supervisor now no longer attending Thursday’s emergency meeting. The vote permits order officials in Arizona to transfer forward with next Monday’s statewide certification.

Arizona Secretary of Command Katie Hobbs (D), now the order’s governor-elect, sued Cochise County earlier this week after two GOP participants on the board voted to delay certification over an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory about the certification of balloting machines and overlooked the order’s Monday closing date. 

Pima County Superior Court docket Resolve Casey McGinley on Thursday ordered the board of supervisors to certify the election results by 5 p.m. that day.

The Luzerne County, Pa., elections board equally voted to certify that county’s election results on Wednesday after it became once sued for missing a order closing date.
