TAK: Two Chinese men had been arrested after illegally crossing the Moei River from Myanmar to Thailand in Mae Sot district on Friday morning.

Wang Yu Hai, 31, and Ho Gun Chuan, 21, had been spotted in a discipline by village volunteers patrolling shut to Ban Mae Taosan College in tambon Mae Tao, acknowledged Capt Sasawat Sattayapong, commander of a protection force process force.

A team of police, troopers and immigration offials had been then sent to arrest them

Below questioning, the 2 men acknowledged they crossed the Moei River to tambon Mae Su in Mae Sot district from Myanmar. They then walked by corn fields earlier than they had been caught shut to the college.

The pair had been taken to Mae Sot police discipline for appropriate action.

Security alongside the Thai-Myanmar border has been tightened to forestall illegal immigration and protect an eye on the unfold of the coronavirus. An outbreak of Covid-19 has been reported in Myawaddy, Myanmar, across the river from Mae Sot.
