Lalu Prasad will get bail in a fodder scam case, but to live in jail
Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday granted bail to outdated Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad in a fodder scam case connected to Chaibasa treasury. The case involves untrue withdrawals amounting to Rs 33.67 crore from the Chaibasa treasury in undivided Bihar, when Lalu Prasad became the chief minister.
The RJD chief, on the different hand, will need to remain in jail as he’s serving time in a single other case connected to Dumka treasury.
The high court has requested Prasad to post two private bonds of Rs 50,000 every, and deposit penalty of Rs 2 lakh which became awarded by a particular CBI court to bring together his bail.
It also sought his clinical enlighten and the critical points of all these he has met true in the course of the direction of his medication at Rajendra Institute of Clinical Sciences in Ranchi.
Earlier, he became granted bail in Deoghar treasury case.
