Ranchi: The Jharkhand Excessive Courtroom on Friday granted bail to aged Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad in a fodder scam case associated to Chaibasa treasury. The case involves unfounded withdrawals amounting to Rs 33.67 crore from the Chaibasa treasury in undivided Bihar, when Lalu Prasad was the chief minister.
The RJD chief, on the other hand, must live in detention heart as he is serving time in a single other case associated to Dumka treasury.
The excessive court has asked Prasad to put up two personal bonds of Rs 50,000 each and every, and deposit penalty of Rs 2 lakh which was awarded by a fair appropriate CBI court to exact his bail.
