PPE Rip-off: 2 Senior IAS Officers Appear Sooner than Lokayukta
Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officers Hamant Sharma and Yamini Sarangi appeared forward of the Lokayukta Monday to plead their cases in connection with an alleged scam within the acquisition of PPE kits in Odisha.
Hemant Sharma, the feeble head of the stammer level steal committee and Sarangi who used to be the Managing Director of Odisha Narrate Scientific Corporation Restricted (OSMCL) submitted their written replies forward of the Lokayukta, told sources.

Social organisation, ‘Odisha Bikash Parisada (OBP)’ alleged that many IAS officers had been focused on the scam. They demanded a great probe into the topic.
“All over this predominant pandemic few senior directors of the stammer were focused on extortion. When the name of ‘vocal for native’ is loud and so many native firms come in, there is just not any justification to prefer 30 lakh masks from Shri Bishnu Disposable Non-public Restricted. We ask an intensive investigation into the topic. Let the true fact be published,” acknowledged OBP President Sushant Padhy.
