PPE Rip-off: 2 Senior IAS Officers Seem Before Lokayukta
Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officers Hamant Sharma and Yamini Sarangi appeared before the Lokayukta Monday to plead their cases in reference to an alleged rip-off in the acquisition of PPE kits in Odisha.
Hemant Sharma, the feeble head of the say degree steal committee and Sarangi who used to be the Managing Director of Odisha Sing Medical Corporation Restricted (OSMCL) submitted their written replies before the Lokayukta, informed sources.
However Each and every Sharma and Sarangi refused to declare the rest about their submissions. “We are in a position to’t present the rest outside on what used to be mentioned before Lokayukta. Now we have high regards for the authority. We’re hopeful that Lokayukta will provide lawful justice,” stated Sharma.
Following allegations of corruption made by the Pradesh Congress Committee over the acquisition of PPE kits, the say authorities had eradicated Sharma from the supervision of the procurement of masks and PPE kits required in the medication of Covid-19 sufferers.
Social organisation, ‘Odisha Bikash Parisada (OBP)’ alleged that many IAS officers had been all in favour of the rip-off. They demanded an even probe into the matter.
“Exact via this serious pandemic few senior administrators of the say have been all in favour of extortion. When the resolution of ‘vocal for native’ is loud and so many native corporations are in the market, there is no longer any justification to steal 30 lakh masks from Shri Bishnu Disposable Non-public Restricted. We set a question to a thorough investigation into the matter. Let the truth be printed,” stated OBP President Sushant Padhy.
