Troops below the auspices of Operation Thunder Strike on Saturday performed a joint flooring and air patrols to Chikwale village, alongside the Polewire-Mangoro-Sarkin Pawa Street within the Chikun Native Executive Home of Kaduna Thunder as navy jets killed several bandits throughout the operation.

The patrols adopted credible experiences of the bandits’ movement from a neighbouring direct, in direction of Akilbu within the Kachia LGA.

Fixed with a commentary by the direct Commissioner, Ministry of Interior Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, on Sunday, the air component performed armed reconnaissance into forests within the characteristic, and scores of the bandits were sighted on motorcycles around Gidan Sule. 

He talked about, “The bandits scampered for duvet as they were engaged by the fighter jet crew. The fighter jets performed further missions in rapidly succession, as the bandits were tracked accordingly.

“When they in the end regrouped to proceed their movement, they were successfully engaged and neutralised by the fighter jets across the inter-direct boundary. Governor Nasir El-Rufai, per the birth, has expressed satisfaction on the document, and thanked the troops for his or her relentless monitoring of the criminals throughout the mission.

“Aggressive flooring and air patrols are direct to proceed within the total characteristic.”
