Rs 110 crore rip-off in PM-Kisan Nidhi plot busted in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu Agriculture Secretary Gagandeep Singh Bedi on Tuesday acknowledged that some 500,000 fraudulent beneficiaries have obtained Rs 110 crore from the PM-Kisan Nidhi plot. The Department has recovered spherical Rs 32 crore to this level and the relaxation will be recovered quickly.
Talking to journalists he acknowledged, 34 authorities officers were suspended and 80 pc operators and other non-public staff brushed apart. As per the probe performed by the department ineligible persons in 13 districts have availed the cash support offering fallacious data.
Crime Department-Crime Investigation Department (CBCID) is probing the rip-off. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Okay Palaniswami on Monday acknowledged action is being taken towards those concerned in the scandal.
“The Authorities is zero tolerant about the misuse of the Authorities plot (PM-Kisan Nidhi) and all those liable for this irregularity will be punished; your total amount will be recovered from ineligible beneficiaries quickly,” he acknowledged.

Under the PM-Kisan Map exiguous farmers with two hectare or much less land are given Rs 6,000 a yr as support in three equal instalments.
