Rs 110 crore scam in PM-Kisan Nidhi scheme busted in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu Agriculture Secretary Gagandeep Singh Bedi on Tuesday acknowledged that some 500,000 flawed beneficiaries believe purchased Rs 110 crore from the PM-Kisan Nidhi scheme. The Division has recovered around Rs 32 crore up to now and the remainder can be recovered rapidly.
Talking to journalists he acknowledged, 34 executive officers believe been suspended and 80 laptop operators and other private crew pushed aside. As per the probe performed by the division ineligible other folks in 13 districts believe availed the money assistance providing flawed details.
Crime Division-Crime Investigation Division (CBCID) is probing the scam. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ok Palaniswami on Monday acknowledged motion is being taken against these pondering about the scandal.
“The Authorities is zero tolerant about the misuse of the Authorities scheme (PM-Kisan Nidhi) and all these accountable for this irregularity can be punished; the total amount can be recovered from ineligible beneficiaries rapidly,” he acknowledged.
